Have a pattern of pre-drilled, tapped, reamed, and counter-sunk holes, sometimes include t-slots or scribed lines, and are used as work holding templates to mount other parts upon and to hold them down during the engraving process.
We can cut out fixtures and holding jigs to accurately hold plate materials and products. Acrylic is the most versatile material for fixtures as it is rigid and low in cost. You can also use paper, cardboard, wood or almost any material that can be easily lasered or engraved.
Special jigs were designed for centering jewelry. We also designed a workholder for flatware and a special fixture for pens. We developed an attachment for the standard cylindrical engraving machine to engrave inside and outside of rings and bangle bracelets with a self-centering workholder.
